Capturing an interview on camera is simple. Capturing a quality interview (visuals, audio and relevant information) is not. The point of recording these interviews on camera is to use them as reference to quote in your print stories and to a element to drive your broadcast stories.

When composing your interview choose a shot style.
When the camera, subject and background have significant distance between each other and you zoom as close as you can to your subject - your shot becomes compressed.
